James Pissot

James Pissot, MSc, is a conservationist and the Executive Director of the environmental group Defenders of Wildlife Canada. He was instrumental in the campaign to have the Canadian Pacific Railway repair faulty graincars which were leading to the deaths of bears in western Canada and is frequently quoted in the Canadian media on issues related to bears. James Pissot is a board member of the Alberta Ecotrust, is married, and lives in Canmore, Alberta.
