James Mourilyan Tanner

James Mourilyan Tanner (born August 1, 1920, Camberley, Surrey, UK) is a British pediatrician.
He is best known for his invention of the Tanner stages, scales for stages of sexual development in puberty. He is a professor emeritus of the Institute of Child Health at the University of London.
