James McKnight (born June 17, 1972 in Orlando, Florida) is a former American football wide receiver in the NFL. He played for the Seattle Seahawks (1994-1998), the Dallas Cowboys (2000), and the Miami Dolphins (2001-2003). He spent the 1999 season on injured reserve. McKnight attended Liberty University. He now coaches the Cypress Bay High School wide receivers and Track Team. He is the father of David McKnight, who plays running back for Cypress Bay High School
