James Marshall Tory

James Marshall (Jim) Tory LLB is a Toronto corporate lawyer and brother to John A. Tory.
Born in Toronto, he and his brothers a members of the firm of Torys, founded by their father John Stewart Donald Tory. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto Schools and the University of Toronto and Osgoode Law School. Graduating in the 1952, he was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1954, he joined the family firm Torys. He is emertius and counsel of the Tory law firm.
Tory is named after his uncle James Marshall (J.M.) Tory and father to James C. Tory (Jim Tory Jr.).
