James Major (born 1975) is the son of former British Prime Minister John Major. He was educated at Kimbolton School and Ratcliffe College.

Major met glamour model and television presenter Emma Noble at a party at London's Café Royal, and were engaged three months later in May 1998.[1]. The couple were married the same year in the chapel of the Houses of Parliament in London,[2] followed by a reception at The Dorchester which netted them a £400,000 deal from Hello! magazine.[3] The couple have a son, Harrison ("Harry"), who was born in July 2000,[4] who was later diagnosed as autistic.[5] The couple divorced in 2003, following James's heart operation and claims that she had an affair with Crossroads' co-star Graham McGrath.[6]
