James Ludwar

James Ludwar is a Canadian politician and lawyer, who ran for the Liberal Party of Canada in the riding of Calgary Southeast in the 2006 federal election.

He was born in Melville, Saskatchewan. His father was a grain buyer for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, so his family moved numerous times around small town Saskatchewan. His time in the rural communities helped shape his beliefs in hard work and community spirit.

James received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995. Upon graduating from law school, James articled in Regina. In 1999, he moved to Calgary and formed a law partnership, the Bayda Ludwar Law Firm. Bayda Ludwar is a boutique firm specializing primarily in disability law, representing disabled clients against insurers and HRDC Canada Pension Plan.
