James Justesen White is the Robert A. Sullivan Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and currently a Visiting Professor of Law at Ave Maria School of Law. He has published the most widely recognized treatise on commercial law, Uniform Commercial Code (with Summers). [1]
Professor White is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Michigan Law School. Before joining the faculty at the University of Michigan Law School, Professor White practiced law as an attorney with Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles. He resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
