James J. Manderino is a former Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
James J. Manderino served as the 133rd Speaker in 1989. He was a Democrat hailing Monessen, Westmoreland County. He was a house member for 23 years from 1967 to 1989, including eight years as Majority Leader.
James J. Manderino is survived by five children and nine grandchildren. His daughter, Kathy Manderino, is a representative of the same house as her father. His name sake is survived in his grandson James J. Manderino II of Annapolis Naval Academy- also of Monessen.
James J. Manderino, having been a native of Monessen, PA, is currently buried there.
