James Green (archbishop)

James Patrick Green, (born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 30 May 1950) is an American Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat.
Green studied for the priesthood and was ordained a priest on 15 May 1976. He was appointed Titular Archbishop of Altinum by Pope Benedict XVI on 17 August 2006 and that same day was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to South Africa and Namibia, and Apostolic Delegate to Botswana. He was ordained as a bishop on 6 September 2006 by Angelo Cardinal Sodano.
