James Elwood

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

James Elwood (born 1923?) is a British physician responsible for more than 200 cancer misdiagnoses between 1995 and 2000. [1] [2]

Elwood graduated with bachelor's degrees in medicine and surgery from Belfast in 1943. [3]

In January 2001 he voluntarily removed himself from the British medical register. [1] He initially refused to co-operate with the investigation of his misdiagnoses by refusing to divulge the details of his medical career. [3]
