James Edward Campbell

Dr. James Edward Campbell recently retired as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff from Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is now serving as a consultant to Sandia. He is one of the developers of the statistical technique known as Latin hypercube sampling.

Prior to joining Sandia, Dr. Campbell was a Vice President at Intera Inc. in Austin, Texas. His areas of expertise include Reliability theory, Decision analysis, analysis of complex System of systems scenarios, software design, and Software engineering. He has bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and physics and a Ph.D. in physics.
