James Edward Austin

James Edward Austin is an Australian businessman who resides on the Gold Coast in Australia. He is known as the founder and former Managing Director of DART Internet, which was part of a merger involving Direct Corporation and subsequently sold to Hotkey Internet Services.

Austin's current businesses include BIT.net, a retail internet service provider and IP Networks, a wholesale internet provider both of which were founded in 2003.
