James E. Mumford

James E. Mumford is an American teacher and composer. He conducted the African American Choral Ensemble at Indiana University Bloomington from 1983 to 2006.

Prior to moving to Indiana, he taught music education and directed the concert choir at Camden High School in Camden, New Jersey during the 1960s and 1970s.
