James Duffy (psychiatrist)

James D. Duffy is a neuropsychiatrist and palliative medicine physician. He received his medical degree in 1979 from the Godfrey Huggins School of Medicine at the University of Rhodesia, and began his residency in South Africa before completing it at Brown University.
Duffy is currently Professor of Psychiatry in Public Health at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Duffy is also President and CEO of the Institute for Religion and Health at the Texas Medical Center. He is Medical Director of The Institute for Palliative Medicine at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
