James Dibble

James Dibble is a former Australian television presenter, best known for reading the first news bulletin from ABN-2 in 1956. Spanning almost 30 years, Dibble's career at the ABC ended in 1983.
Dibble was the first winner of the Clear Speech Award in 1967.
He appeared as himself in a number of Our Man In Canberra and Our Man In The Company episodes.
Dibble has served as a Director and Chairperson of the Peer Support Foundation and is a past president of the Rotary Club of Warringah and a member of Rotary International District 9680 Public Relations Committee.
