James DeNoon Reymert

James DeNoon Reymert (1821–1896) was born in Farsund, Norway. He migrated to the U.S. in 1842. He died in California 1896. He was an editor, lawyer and politician.
He was the editor of the first Norwegian-American newspaper[1] in the U.S., "Nordlyset" (=The Northern Light) 1847-49, published in Muskego, Wisconsin. [2] (More in Norwegian Wikipedia: no:Reymert (slekt)).
