James Corry (MP)

Colonel James Corry (c. 1634 – 1 May 1718) was an Irish politician.
The son of John Corry and Blanch Johnston, he was High Sheriff of Fermanagh in 1671 and High Sheriff of Monaghan in 1677. From 1692 and 1718, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Fermanagh.
In February 1663, he married firstly, Sarah Anketell, daughter of Oliver Anketell, in 1683 secondly, Lucy Mervyn, daughter of Henry Mervyn and in 1692 thirdly Elizabeth Harryman. He had one son, John Corry by his first wife.
