From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

James Coombes is a British actor with a number of television credits to his name.

His best known role is perhaps that of Pierre Challon during the final series of the BBC drama Howards' Way. He also appeared as Paroli in the 1984 Doctor Who serial Warriors of the Deep. (This was actually Coombes' second Doctor Who contribution, although his first was never to reached television screens due to industrial action at the BBC. In Douglas Adams's uncompleted and never transmitted 1980 Doctor Who story Shada, he was to have provided the Voice of the Krargs, but his voice-overs were never recorded.)

Other credits include: Minder, Robin of Sherwood, Boon, Drop the Dead Donkey, Heartbeat, Bugs, Holby City, The Bill, My Family and Dinosapien.
