James Burgin (born 6 September 1989 in Derby, England) is an English footballer, currently playing as a defender for Swansea City.
The youngster is part of the Swansea City youth set-up and was brought into the Swansea City first-team in 2008 as defensive cover. His one and only first-team appearance came in the FAW Premier Cup quarter final defeat at Newport County.
He was re-called from Port Talbot Town where he made two Welsh Premier League appearances.
James was brought to Swansea from hometown club Derby County while another one of his former clubs is Kinberley.
He also stood in as captain as Swansea City's youth team lifted the FAW Welsh Youth Cup with a 1-0 victory over rivals Cardiff City in April 2008.
