"A World Lost" is a comedy with several NASCAR references. The protagonist's name is Rusty Wallace from the planet D'Earnhardt. A planet named Harrygant is also mentioned.
Further information is difficult to find since "A World Lost" was published with the author's name as James Weldon Johnson, causing confusion with the noted early NAACP activist James Weldon Johnson, to the point where sites like Amazon.com and many others list James B. Johnson's books as having been written by James Weldon Johnson.
