James Angus Gillan (born October 11, 1885 - died April 23, 1981) was a British rower who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and in the 1912 Summer Olympics.

In 1908 he was a crew member of the British boat, which won the gold medal in the coxless fours.

Four years later he was a crew member of the British boat, which won the gold medal in the eights.
