Jamalpur Sadar (Bengali: জামালপুর সদর) is an Upazila of Jamalpur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Jamalpur Sadar is located at 24.9167° N 89.9583° E . It has 102578 units of house hold and total area 489.56 km².Hazrat Sha Jamal & Sha Kamal & Maulana A. Jabber Khan were famous religious leader.

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Jamalpur Sadar has a population of 501924. Males constitute are 51.47% of the population, and females 48.53%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 263338. Jamalpur Sadar has an average literacy rate of 27.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
