Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir is the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Islamist group, the Jamaat-e-Islami. Its organisation is distinct from the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, the Indian branch of the Jamaat to emphasize the organisation's stance that Jammu and Kashmir is not a part of India.

Since 1988-89, the ISI in Pakistan has maintained contact with Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir[1]
