Well, if this photo was taken in 1904 and we're in 2007, everyone sees that it has passed more than 100 years of it's creation.
So, as far as I am concerned, it's undoubtfully in Public Domain - PD-100 years old. I think it would be a great idea to move it to Commons, so other wikis can use it. io:User:Joao Xavier 22:11, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

It is not in the public domain. It is publication and not creation that determines its status, and we do not know when it was published. Nor is it public domain by virtue of the death of its creator. The photographer, Constantine Curran, died in 1972[1]. The photograph will be public domain worldwide in 2042. Chick Bowen 04:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
