I'm an italian wikipedian, and I will not read this page every day.
If you wish to write me something urgent, please leave a message in my italian talk, thanks --Jalo 15:42, 12 April 2007 (UTC) 17:39, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!
Dear Jalo: welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:
Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! - PatricknoddyTALK (reply here)|HISTORY 20:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image issues
You were a part of the deletion discussion at the commons, commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Lammers0007.jpg. If you want the image to be recreated, you must supply the necessary license information. It seems like the editors at the commons were concerned about the date of death of the photographer. If you have found that information, then great. If you need more help, I suggest reading commons:licensing, and asking questions on that talk page. I am not an admin at the commons so I'm not positive of there procedures there. As for here on wikipedia, I'm willing to accept that since the image didn't pass muster at the commons, that it wouldn't be appropriate here (unless you want to recreate the image as a fair use, non-free image with a proper rationale). Sorry I couldn't have been more help. If you have addition questions, feel free to contact me. -Andrew c [talk] 14:05, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
