He was six feet tall "but he has [sic] to shave himself"... ? What does one thing have to do with the other? This article definitely needs some cleaning up, but I don't even know where to begin with that sentence. HEYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

No, it is not true (thankfully). I don't know what people get out of spreading vicious rumors such as these! Jaleel is very much alive; in fact, he did a recent episode of 24. TamYum 15:29, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I added the "suicide" rumor to the article, because when I heard that White had killed himself, I checked Wikipedia to see if it was true. I assumed that many others would do the same. The fact that the rumor is widespread, and that there are news sites that report on the rumor itself, makes the rumor newsworthy, I believe. (Remember, Paul is Dead has its own article on Wikipedia!) I'm going to reinstate the "rumor" addition but try to make it more news-like in style. ShawnVW 19:20, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't know where the Long Island, NY high school part of the rumor came from, considering I wrote the letter that appears on snopes and elsewhere. I wrote it on my myspace blog, then posted it on various message boards. Six months later it was everywhere. I did base parts of the fake obit on a rumor I read on an IMDB message board.
