Jakub Voráček (Born August 15, 1989 in Kladno, Czechoslovakia) is an amateur ice hockey player who plays for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL. Voráček was taken first overall in the 2006 CHL Import Draft. He stands six foot and two inches and weighs 185 pounds. Voráček also represented Czech Republic at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2007 and 2008. On June 22, 2007, he was drafted seventh overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Voráček was on Team Bergeron-Burns for the 2007 CHL-NHL top prospects game, scoring one goal. [1]
