Jake Zim is Chief Operating Officer of Safran Digital Group (SDG), a digital media entertainment company that finances, develops and distributes entertainment programming and technologies for digital platforms. Safran Digital Group, headed by Peter Safran, the veteran Hollywood producer and talent manager, has been hired by Microsoft to produce original content for the Xbox 360. [1] [2]

Previously, Jake Zim was the Vice President of Online for Fox Atomic, the youth-market film studio. Zim oversaw all aspects of the studio's online and digital presence, including marketing, creative, original and acquired content and digital distribution. Fox Atomic was formed in early 2006 and is headed by Fox Searchlight president Peter Rice, and president of production Debbie Liebling. The studio's aim is to provide theatrical and creative content that specifically target teens and young audiences. It also develops new-media content for the Internet, mobile devices and other emerging technologies. [3]
Recent Fox Atomic theatrical releases that Zim developed digital marketing campaigns for include 28 Weeks Later, The Hills Have Eyes 2, Turistas and The Comebacks. Upcoming releases include The Rocker and Jennifer's Body, written by Diablo Cody and starring Megan Fox[1].
In 2007, Zim join the Hulu launch team, the NBC Universal/ News Corp. online video venture. Zim worked on the product team, focusing on user-experience and content marketing.[4]
Prior to joining Fox, Zim was Director of Digital Media Marketing at Lionsgate, the leading independent film studio. Zim directed the digital campaigns for such titles as the Academy Award winning Crash and box office successes such as Saw II, Hostel and Madea's Family Reunion.[3]

Jake Zim graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley where he was also a member of the 1998 MCLA National Championship Lacrosse Team. [5] He received his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School.
