Jake Wall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jake William Wall (born April 26, 1983 in Southport, Queensland) is a former carpeter turned model, former rugby league player. He is probably best known as the long-term boyfriend of former Australian Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins of Newcastle and as the winner of the Australian version of Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice.

"Discovered" by a photographer while on holidays in New York City where he was visiting Jennifer Hawkins, Wall has been modelling for the last two years and has spent time in Milan working as both a photographic and runway model. Prior to this, he worked as a carpeter in Newcastle and the Central Coast, whilst having previously played rugby league for the Balmain Tigers in the NSWRL Premier League competition before injury ended his footballing career.

He has featured in campaigns for David Jones, Myer, Goldmark, Aussie Bum and La Perla and has appeared in Australian magazines DNA, Cleo (male centrefold in the September 2006 issue), Cosmopolitan and Italy's Grazia and GQ.

He was regularly mocked on the Triple M radio show Get This for being referred to in the media as TV hopeful Jake Wall.
