Jake Nava

Jake Nava is a music video and commercial director. He is represented for Commercials in Europe by Independent Films and Anonymous Content within the US. He grew up in Hackney, London, England and later moved to the United States.[1]
Nava's video Badman, featuring Roll Deep and produced in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police to support the anti-gun crime Operation Trident, was named as video of the year by MTV.[2] In 2007 he was nominted for MTV's Best Director award for the Beyoncé & Shakira video Beautiful Liar.[3] The 2003 video Crazy in Love, which Nava directed for Beyoncé, was nominated for the MOBO Best Video award[4] and won the Cads04 Music Vision Award sponsored by Music Week.[5]
