Jake High was the 11th head college football coach for the New York University Violets located in New York, New York and he held that position for the 1913 season. His career coaching record at NYU was 0 wins, 8 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him 21st at NYU in total wins and 21st at NYU in winning percentage. [1]
In his single season of coaching, his team was outscored by 241 points to zero (an average of 30.125 points per game). In only one game for the entire season did their opponents score less than ten points.[2] Since Coach High had never coached in college anywhere else, nor never did again, he was certainly one of the poorest performing coaches in coollege football history.
