Jake Gibb

Jake Gibb (born February 6, 1976 in Bountiful, Utah) is a top beach volleyball player from the United States. He is playing on the AVP Tour with current partner, Sean Rosenthal. Gibb has won a total of nine times. Gibb/Rosenthal won twice in 2007.

He is one of the few players on the AVP Tour that did not play volleyball in college. Instead, he grew up in Bountiful, Utah playing golf and basketball. It was not until he turned 21 that he took up the sport of beach volleyball with his twin brother, Coleman.

Gibb is the youngest of 11 children (six brothers, five sisters). He graduated from the University of Utah in 2002 with a degree in business.

He and his wife, Jane, were married in 2000 and moved to Southern California in 2002. They currently reside in Costa Mesa, California.

Gibb is a Latter-day Saint.
