Jai Al-Attas (b. 1984) is the co-owner of Australian indie label, Below Par Records which he started in the year 2000 while he was still in high school. Since starting the label Jai has signed bands such as Kisschasy, Something With Numbers, Soft Tigers and also licensed Brand New and Yellowcard into Australia. In 2006, Jai made his first film, a tour documentary called Kisschasy: The Movie which was nominated for an ARIA Award and made Rolling Stones "Best Of" list for 2006. In 2007, Jai started a film production company called Robot Academy Films with Matt Wardle, with the first production being a feature length documentary on the explosion of punk rock in the 90's titled One Nine Nine Four which Jai is writing and directing.
