Jahanian (Urdu: جہانیاں) is a town in Khanewal District, Punjab, Pakistan, 30 minutes drive from Khanewal (28 km) and 45 minutes drive from Multan (48km). It is the headquarters of Jahanian Tehsil a sub-division of the district name. The town is located at the crossroads of the Khanewal-Lodhran National Highway (N-5A), and the Multan-Delhi Grand Trunk Road. It is situated at 416 feet above sea level. Its climate is dry and hot in the daytime, but nights are usually pleasant.

Jahanian has a rich history. It is believed that Alexander the Great left some traces during the conquest of this area and that Muhammad Bin Qasim, the first Muslim invader of the sub-continent passed through the area on the way to Multan.
The name may be derived from the saint Makhdoom Syed Jalal-ud-Din Jahanian Jahan Gasht, who preached the teachings of Islam, in this area during the 18th century CE.

Member of National Assembly for Jahanian is Ch. Iftikhar Nazir and Member of Punjab Assembly for Jahanian is Mukhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Jahanian town contains 1 Union Council.[1] It is divided for administrative purposes into:

- MNA - Ch. Iftikhar Nazir
- MPA - Shah Mehmood Qureshi

There is a railway station and a bus stand.People rely mostly on Public Station Van type transport.

Jahanian is basically an agri-oriented area. The old city of Jahanian was planned on a similar pattern to Checha Watni in 1919. It is divided into seven main blocks. Most people are small traders, sole proprietors and business people. Others are employed in private and public sectors. It is also an important trading center of the area, known for its cotton and oilseed mills of which the most famous are Jahanian Fiber, Kohinoor Edible Oils Mills Ltd,Al Raheem Cotton Pressing &Oil Mills, Gulstan Textile Mills 4, NASCO,Waheed bro's pvt LTD and Neelam Seeds,Dawood Jahanian Seeds.
Because the area is agricultural and produce cotton and mango in huge, so people of Jahanian is polite like cotton and sweet like Mango.
The town has its own boys and girls degree colleges. A Municipal Committee, THQ Hospital and a civil court.
The town itself has about one hundred thousand residents. In the sub-division (tehsil) of which it is administrative capital are 180 villages with populations ranging from 500 to 5,000.
Jahanian has a digital 1000 lines telephone exchange and all mobile phone operators (UFone, Mobilink, Warid, Telenor, Paktel and Zong)are working in Jahanian.
The well-known and most central mosques are the "Haqqani" mosque and "Jeelani" mosques.
The "Abdul Rehman Wahla Stadium" is the well-known stadium and Govt high school ground is also very famous for sports activities. In Jahanian the young persons are very motivative and take part in different games, especially people like the body building and therefore the body building is very popular in Jahanian. The most popular Jims in Jahanian is New Pak Body Building Club. Students of the club took part in District Level competitions and get the first prizez. Jamil Ahmed is the instructor of the club who is also a senior body builder of the club and District Level high weight class belt holder.
Jahanaina has a main cemetery cross road near general bus stand.
The people of Jahania also take part in the games Mostly in cricket,hockey and football. Jahanian also has two children's play parks and a ladies' park known as "Zubaida Park".

Jahanian has three Government High Schools, two government middle schools, 4 government primary schools and 15 private schools. It has a School for Special Children and soon in near future it is going to have a Commerce college and technical Training institute.
