- You can change the title by moving a page. Make sure the new title is accurate. If it is a major article, make sure you have a consensus for changing its title. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 10:03, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Tekken Characters
Devil and Angel's pages were merged not because of the in-universe context, but because Angel is a pallette swap for Devil. That's all. The story context only complicates things needlessly. King Zeal 21:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- The only reason Alex and Roger don't share articles is because I don't frequent their pages enough to merge them. I would have done so long ago if I'd remembered them. However, that aside, while the majority of Tekken articles are based on in-universe story and information, this is actually against Wikipedia standards. For example, if you look at the article for Jin Kazama, you'll note that only a SMALL amount of the page is dedicated to the character's backstory. And that which IS dedicated to his backstory is very summarized and lacks significant detail. It's raw fact--not plot. King Zeal 21:35, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- Don't take matters into your own hands. This isn't your site. It's the community's. Ask for others' opinions on the individual articles' Talk pages before you decide to be judge and jury. King Zeal 21:39, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- It's not up to you to decide what article deserves what. As I said, this is a community. If people disagree with you, you don't say "I'm sorry if you don't see it that way". You discuss it with other people, wait for a consensus, and THEN you act. King Zeal 21:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

-
- We're not the only two people on Wikipedia. What you can do is PROPOSE to give Angel her own page on the discussion page of the article itself. You can get other peoples' opinions on the matter and see if people agree or disagree with me before you decide "this is how it should be". Again, that's not up to you. Keep in mind that it's insulting to me that you're so willing to dismiss my opinion just because you don't agree with it. It says that you just don't respect what I have to say.

-
-
-
-
- Keep in mind that just because you CAN expand an article doesn't mean you SHOULD. You have to provide citations and direct sources for ALL information included in Wikipedia articles and that information has to be notable.

- So no, I'm not just going to let you do something just because you want to or you think it should be done. That's NOT the way it works on this site. King Zeal 21:56, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- Yes. Make the title "Separate Article for Angel" and then type in your reasons why you think she needs her own article. I'll provide my reasons for disagreeing after that and then we'll see what others think. King Zeal 22:02, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- Miharu Hirano, Roger, Alex, Tetsujin, and any other pallette-swapped character should be merged into the corresponding article. It doesn't help your case about the Angel page to continue pointing out every page that's slipped by unnoticed. King Zeal 01:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

hi my name is Allen Jackson, and i heard that you and some other guys where arguing about devil/Angel. Well i could help you out with information i know about them two, starting off with Angel.
Angel. Angel is a Angel sent from the heavens to save kazuya from devil.
Devil. devil is a demon spirit that was within kazuya from when he was born because of jinpachi his grandfarther really started the curse blood of the devil-gene.
now let me tell you something About jin kazama, kazuya son.
jin kazama has both devil in Angel powers within him because of kazuya and jun. now have you ever thought About jun and Angel in your head. now jun has Angel powers to save kazuya from that curse too you know. so that make Angel within jun, they almost the same in a way. so this information will help you solve question you always had About Angel, devil, kazuya, jun, and jin. think About it.put 2 and 2 together and get answers, know what should be what.--Allen jackson 20:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Allen Jackson AKA Ace.

- nice to see you've separated that article. Is it possible if you could do that with the ps3 article? thanks. reply on my page. Jagzthebest 21:24, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
It certainly is possible yes. I'll have a look at the article (ps3 one) now and see what needs to be done. No one seems to have complained since I did it a week ago for the 360 article, so no one should about the PS3 article I guess! RC Master 13:04, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sixaxiscontroller.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:55, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Please explain on this user's talk page why you indef-blocked his account. He has requested to be unblocked, but he is unable to explain why his request is justified when you provided no justification at all. Rklawton 16:59, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

hey can you help? I was unblocked by anetode and he gave me a second chance. I made very good edits and he said in a month he would delete the sockpuppet article on me because I wasn't actually using any sockpuppets. But today he has abruptly blocked this account and my IP address and creation of another account. For a reason I do not know of. Jagzthebest 21:11, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Kurykh that could be the case, but If I was unblocked then I could add the source and fair use information as I have done to the tekken images I have uploaded. Jagzthebest 23:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dear IP address: 71.125.83.31
Whoever you are, you have written an offensive comment on my page which disgusted me. I relayed it back to the admin helping me, and guess what? I've been blocked! For your disgusting comment which I had no association with, yep I'm Indef-blocked, not you. Not only have you offended me, you offended a good adminstrator who was giving me a second chance. Your immaturity has got me so mad right now. Whoever you may be, have a good time on Wikipedia, but I hope it doesn't last long. For what you have done to my account. Thanks a lot.
This is Jagzthebest 19:25, 31 July 2007 (UTC) Signing off.
[edit] Probably my Last message
Well seeing as no one cares about my innocence, I would just like to say goodbye to those that helped and etc. As I never be unblocked looking at the circumstances of 'cough' blame 'cough' frame 'cough'
I would like to Thank anetode, for giving me a fresh start. I could thank you for that at least.
And if an admin is reading this, I checked that IP address: 71.125.83.31 has contributions to tekken but also to a guy called rikulover and he has written the same vulgar message on his page. I do not wish to see another innocent suffer the same indef fate, so if an admin is reading this please get rid of the comment on the User Talk: RikuLover's page. That IP address should also be blocked and punished severely, for causing me a lot of trouble, and before he does it to other peoples. And for the last time I DON'T KNOW HIM. - Okay; all the best ~ Anthøny 19:43, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hey this is probably my last message, Ill still check regularly to see if any thing changes, because I have been wrongly blamed, and I'm not going to quit without justice. Jagzthebest 19:46, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:PS3Logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:PS3Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:T5DR Kuma.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:T5DR Kuma.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
