Jaguar Advanced Lightweight Coupe Concept

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jaguar Advanced Lightweight Coupe Concept (which closely previewed the look of the Jaguar XK model) is a hatchback concept car the Premier Automotive Group produced under the Jaguar brand. Ford claims the Concept can reach sixty miles per hour in five seconds from a standstill, and that it has a top speed of one hundred sixty miles per hour. It débuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. In what columnists suggested was an ironic homage to great British sports cars of the past, the headlights refused to operate. Autoblog (as cited in "References") suspected the Concept may indicate the styling of a replacement for the then-current Jaguar XK8.
