Jagner is a small town and a nagar panchayat in Agra district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Jagner is famous for stone and mustard oil extraction. It has many tourist places and is famous for "GWAL BABA". It is around 50 km from Agra. One can get direct bus from agra and can reach within 1 hour. Jagner name is derived from the name of king "Jagan Singh" who was a ruler in 19th cent. This place is just on the border of Rajsthan. The language of Jagner is similar to Brijbhasha. Janta Inter College has produced many Engineer/Doctors/IAS and IES officers.
