Jagmeet Bal born December 13, 1972 is a popular music video director in India who is famous for his traditional and religious Punjabi music videos.

He was born in Chandigarh, Punjab, in a Sikh family. Since childhood, Jagmeet had a strong inclination toward fine arts. So, after completing school, Jagmeet acquired a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Punjab University and left for Mumbai to realize his childhood dream of contributing to the Film Industry.

Jagmeet started his career as an Assistant Director in Zee TV in 1994. His hard work and dedication made him a Director within a short span of time.

In order to expand the horizons of his career and experiment with his creativity, Jagmeet moved to the music video industry. He worked with popular artists like Malkit Singh, Hans Raj Hans, Surjit Bindrakhia, Pammi Bai, Bhagwant Mann, Sardool Sikander, Amar Noorie, Bali Brahambhatt, Gurdas Mann and many more.

Jagmeet is known for his contribution to the Punjabi culture through his traditional music videos that depict the richness and exuberance of Punjab. He has also proved his brilliance through his religious music videos that add life to the stories of the sikh gurus. Jagmeet attended Government Model High School, Chandigarh, up to his matriculation. Then he attended the Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh. He was very well known for his ingenuity and colorful life through his school years. He had two best friends Charanjot Singh and Anil K. Vohra throughout his school years. People remember him for being a truthful person and one who cherishes relationships for a long time.
