[edit] Marfan Syndrome Article Graffiti Attacks
I have reviewed the history of changes on the Marfan Syndrome article over the past few weeks and have noticed an occasional graffito is written into the article. The vandals perpetrating these attacks usually do it without logging in, thus leaving no contributor trace. I recommend that whenever any of the responsibly acting contributors log in to do some more editing, first look at the most recent edit. If it is an anonymous edit, just revert the article to the previous edit before doing more edits. Leeirons 13:29, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I have a To-Do list on the main page of WikiProject Munich. Kingjeff 20:32, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Would you be interested in a FC Bayern Munich Taskforce? Kingjeff 20:36, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Depends on what a FC Bayern Munich Taskforce does.--jaellee 20:38, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
It's would be mainly maintaining, creating, improving, expanding, etc of Bayern Munich related articles like the club article itself, it's squad members, past players, past coaches. Is there anything else that needs to be added to that list? That's what I think it will do for the most part. Kingjeff 21:02, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Count me in. I'm at least good for maintaining. --jaellee 21:05, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
-
- Right now I'm just gather usernames that are interested. I'll contact you when we're ready to start. Kingjeff 21:13, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
The task force has started. Kingjeff 20:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm done with creating the main page of the task force if you think nothing else needs to be put on. Kingjeff 22:59, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Question about Darkover edits
I am curious about your edits to the links on the List of Darkover books where you appended "(MZB)" to the links. Is this a Wikipedia standard for disambiguation of common book titles? If so, how or why did you decide to use "(MZB)" on a couple of titles but not any of the others?
- I just wanted to avoid linking unrelated items to the book titles and I didn't want to remove the links altogether (if someone puts them in again the problem is still there). Usually for disambiguation a description in parentheses is used, so I improvised. But I really haven't looked it up (yet). jaellee 22:54, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Also, on the Darkover series page you moved Hawkmistress! from the "The Ages of Chaos" section to "The Hundred Kingdoms." I agree with the rational for moving the story but am concerned that this means the story organization does not match what DAW uses in their “A Reader’s Guide to Darkover” that’s at the front of some Darkover books and also fan sites such as http://www.darkover.com/new/darkover/guide/books/novels.darkover-time.en.html.
In a sense you are doing “original research” by coming up with your own organization of the stories – even though it may be a better organization than what the publisher has. Would it work for you to have Hawkmistress! under "The Ages of Chaos" and to have it with a note “(parts of this story overlap with Zandru's Forge and so it could be read as part of Darkover's "Hundred Kingdoms" era.)”?. Marc Kupper (talk) (contribs) 08:21, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
ps: more reading - http://web.archive.org/web/20040717023334/www.darkover.com/darkover/history/chrono.uk.html says "In the foreword of Hawkmistress!, Marion says that this novel takes place during the hundred kingdoms period, between Stormqueen ! and Two to conquer. This part of Darkover history is therefore quite unclear." So yes, there's a good case for moving the story but I suspect rather than moving it to add notes such as explaining “There is an author's note at the beginning of Hawkmistress! that states:
- Although Hawkmistress!, like most of the Darkover novels, is complete in itself, requiring no knowledge of the other books in the series, those who follow the chronicles of Darkover may wish to know that it comes during the time of the Hundred Kingdoms, between Stormqueen and Two to Conquer. –M.Z.B.
This would give a citable reference for why someone could move the story or read it as part of the Hundred Kingdoms. Marc Kupper (talk) (contribs) 08:37, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- I seemed strange to me to move a book in one era, if it clearly belongs to an other one. In any case the listing in the Darkover series article and the description in the Hawkmistress! article should match. jaellee 22:54, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 2007-08 FC Bayern Munich season
I've started an article called 2007-08 FC Bayern Munich season. Would you be able to do a good intro paragraph? Kingjeff 18:51, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Miroslav Klose
Was there any news on Roy Makaay? I know the Bayern management has said they would release Makaay if they got Klose. Kingjeff 15:10, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Not really. Only speculation so far. kicker.de says that Makaay will probably leave for Eindhoven or Rotterdam. jaellee 15:18, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] FC Bayern Taskforce
I think we should all take some of the players listed on the FC Bayern Task Force. What do you think? Kingjeff 01:37, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Hamster: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. NASCAR Fan24(radio me!) 14:18, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikilinked years
Hi there JAELLEE, this is VASCO from Portugal:
One thing i would like to ask, maybe you can shed some light on me: Since you have reverted at least twice (one by me, not sure if the other was mine too) the years i had de-wikilinked in LUCA TONI's article (and so i suppose in other articles too): can you tell me the purpose in wikilinking dates (unless they are really historically significant?). Do you hope that if one clicks, in one date, the year or the day or month, it will appear: "On this magnificent day of 2004 (for example) Luca Toni scored two goals against Lithuania".
If it is for aesthetical purposes (highlighting in a different colour) i don't see the point either (why don't they highlight something different, it's ALWAYS THE YEARS?).
Anyway, i give up (at least on TONI's article); don't want to put you through all that work, since i know you will reinstate the format everytime someone takes it.
Help me with your views, from Portugal have a nice weekend, VASCO AMARAL - --217.129.67.28 (talk) 16:13, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please read WP:DATE, especially WP:DATE#Autoformatting and linking. Linking the dates will cause the wiki software to autoformat them according to the preferences of the user. --Jaellee (talk) 16:21, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

- 1) Read what I wrote on your talk page.
- 2) Go and and have a look at: Template:Infobox_Football_biography. The Source code also uses the symbol.--Jaellee (talk) 17:46, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I read what you placed on his page and it's not entirely acurate. &ndash is the correct html use for a long dash, if you don't use it, it may not be rendered correctly in all browsers, which is why it is preferable. It does not clutter up the source, it is the source. Pbradbury (talk) 22:04, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Do you have some further information on this? I know that – is the correct html source but the Wikipeda software does more than just displaying html. For example umlaut ä doesn't have to be written as ä (at least I never saw somebody complaining about that). If you have a look at Dash#En_dash there is also the character "–" used in the source and I would expect that it wouldn't be used there if it was for some reason not recommended. --Jaellee (talk) 22:20, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] &ndash
I can't remember where, but there is a policy that asks people to use &ndash instead of a - between dates, so 1988&ndash(;)2003
instead of 1988-2003
. Just to let you know... J.delanoygabsadds 17:41, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- It was already an –. Can't you see that? It is the first Symbol after the "Insert:" in the box below the Edit window. --Jaellee (talk) 17:45, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi there JAELLEE, VASCO from PORTUGAL,
In these GERMAN FOOTBALLER article, no problem with accessdate whatsoever your edit was good, in my opinion (which is of course questionable) it makes REF. display too lenghty, and i thought publishing date would be enough, but you see it differently, no problem there. I also did a good job, when i arrived there, REF. was not displayed, so i mended that, and my question to you is: What was the problem with my edit to prompt your "cosmetic changes"?
TEAM WORK ALWAYS, from PORTUGAL, a nice week(end),

[edit] Assists of Goalkeepers in Bundesliga
You are right. Rensing did get an assist aswell. I would like to change the phrase from "he was one of two goalkeeper's to get an assist" to " he is one of three", but then the reference would be useless as it it false. We could leave the phrase as unsourced too. What are your thoughts? Hubschrauber729 (talk) 03:28, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry for being late. Although I think it is better to to write that "he is one of three" I am not sure whether there is another goalkeeper who got an assist in this season (I haven't checked that yet). And I think that leaving it unsourced is also a good idea. --Jaellee (talk) 10:29, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
