Hi Folks, An artist named Neil Cummings (who is well-established, with exhbitions at the Tate Modern, etc.) pointed out to me several years ago that Wikipedia didn't have a lot of articles about contemporary artists. I'm interested in helping rectify this situation, and am starting with significant contemporary ceramic artists, as that is my particular area of expertise. Jae Won Lee is held in very high regard in the field of contemporary ceramics; she is a tenured faculty member at a major institution (Michigan State), has curated major exhibitions (for example, White on White, which was a traveling show with a published catalogue that concluded at the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts, or NCECA, conference in 2004) and has had her work written about not only in the major ceramics publications (see the references for the article), but also in the primary pulication for sculpture (again, see references). She is certainly deserving of a page on Wikipedia.
