Jae Deal is an American composer, mathematician, and music producer in various genres, including Hip-Hop, Gospel, and Pop. He is also a session keyboardist, programmer, and bassist in Los Angeles, California.

Jae began playing instruments at the age of seven, and he developed an international touring schedule by the time he finished high school. He attended Friends School of Baltimore, the oldest private school in Baltimore, and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute his freshman year of High School. Deal graduated from Randallstown High School and obtained a B.S. in Pure Mathematics from Morgan State University in May 2002, amidst touring the world with major pop stars.
In 1998 Jae experienced a pivotal moment in his life and musical mission when he participated in President Nelson Mandela's 80th birthday celebration in South Africa alongside musical legends Stevie Wonder and Chaka Kahn. This experience inspired him to develop several initiatives for community-based organizations committed to nurturing urban youth through mentoring and tutoring. Jae faithfully serves youth nationwide as a motivational speaker, proponent for education, mentor and tutor, and teacher. Since 2004, Deal has been the Musical Director for the Takeover at Faithful Central Bible Church (Dr. Kenneth Ulmer, Senior Pastor/Teacher). The Takeover is a youth initiative created and pastored by Graphic Artist Daven Baptiste and Grammy Award winner Kirk Franklin.
Deal is currently refining what he describes as a topological methodology for analyzing and composing music. `
