Jade Cargo International is a cargo airline based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, People's Republic of China. It operates cargo services to Asia and Europe. Its main base is Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport.[1]

Jade Cargo International was established in October 2004 and is co-owned by Shenzhen Airlines, which has a 51% stake, Lufthansa Cargo with 25% and DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH – with 24%. It started operations in March 2005 with intra-Asian services. It is the first cargo airline in China with foreign ownership and has 200+ employees (as of Feb 2008). [2]

Jade Cargo International commenced operations with its first commercial flight from Shenzhen to Amsterdam on 5 August 2006. The aircraft returned to Shenzhen and operated its first flight to Seoul the next day.
