[edit] Classfire

A tag has been placed on Classfire, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --MCB 01:37, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Samnang Kok

This is incredibly obscure. There's no way this is going to result in a keep. KazakhPol 01:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] School shooting

I know you care since it appears you are from Washington, but when creating an article you have to think about whether other people will care. I don't see people in Washington state really caring, yet alone nationally or internationally. I feel bad for the kids family, but people get murdered everyday and this hardly deserves to be several articles (yet alone categories). TJ Spyke 05:12, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Sophie's Revenge

A tag has been placed on Sophie's Revenge, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.Closedmouth 04:03, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:TheGoodGerman Soundtrack.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:TheGoodGerman Soundtrack.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Tacoma SOTA logo.jpg

Please do not upload pictures and claim that they have "no copyright" or are "free use" when they are clearly not. I have rectified the improper license you selected for the SOTA logo; local schools and their districts are not United States federal government entities. Please refer to the links in prior warnings. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Grammy01Alternate.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Grammy01Alternate.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 03:46, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
