What is the reason for using {{la}}? MrKIA11 (talk) 23:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- It seemed better to me to have direct links to talk pages and logs (in the case of deletion). If you disagree, feel free to revert my change. JACOPLANE • 2008-04-7 14:24
- Do you know of any other templates that don't have as many links, possibly just talk pages and logs? I though I had seen some before, but I can't seem to be able find them. MrKIA11 (talk) 22:02, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Looking at Wikipedia:Template messages/Links, I can't spot any right now. Of course, we could always create a new template, which shouldn't be too hard since we can just copy {{la}}. JACOPLANE • 2008-04-7 22:11

"one game in a career shouldn't have its own header"
Hi. Where in Wikipedia does any style guide or policy say this? You removed a sub-header, not a header, which prefaced a controversial incident in the life or career of the subject Pieter Vink. Please now tell me why I should not restore this stylemark, quoting the style guideline or policy which disallows it. You will subsequently find that there is much work to do removing other instances in other similar articles if you are proven right. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 19:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- The reason I removed the header is because it is a rather insignificant event in the referee's career. Wenger himself has dismissed the whole "controversy", saying "There is no credence in [the reports]. A referee is like a manager - you want a clear game and to do your job well. I have no suspicion at all." [1] I'm not going to start Wikilawyering with you over which policy says what because it seems rather common sense to me. JACOPLANE • 2008-04-6 21:23
StarCraft images.
So I can just upload the images to the the new names and you'll delete the old ones for me? Thanks Jacoplane, I'll note the ones to delete in this section. -- Sabre (talk) 16:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok, lets start off. These can all go, I've reuploaded them with the organised names. Added some more. More to come later. This should be the last lot. Thanks Jacoplane!

Would you mind deleting these too? They didn't come out as I hoped, so I don't want to use them now.

- Talk pages? For the images or my archived ones that I just requested speedy deletion of? Either way, go ahead. -- Sabre (talk) 16:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Well did it work?
Well I very nearly fell foul of Wikipedia:Don't_template_the_regulars when I saw that test page. I'm guessing there was probably a good reason since you're an admin, now I'm just curious. Ignore me if I'm being more nosey than I should :) --BrucePodger (talk) 22:14, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yes it did :) I've set up an RSS feed that filters out new articles on Wikipedia related to video games (we use that here), but it no longer seemed to be working. So I created a new article which included "Infobox VG", which is one of the things that is filtered out, so I was just testing if my test article would be picked up by my RSS feed. Hope that helps :) JACOPLANE • 2008-04-10 22:20
- Makes sense. :) --BrucePodger (talk) 22:27, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Since you're probably online here
I left you a comment on your Commons RfA. Good luck. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 10:29, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just noticed, thanks for your support! I'll be more active in the commons namespace from now on :) JACOPLANE • 2008-04-11 10:32
- I sure hope so - as I said, closing a day's worth of discussions isn't my idea of a fun time (well, you could say it is, since I did it...). See 'ya around. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 10:41, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Pagecounts
Hi,
I'm just waiting to get my account at the toolserver working. (I got kicked off my previous server when I ran the bot for its excessive bandwidth usage so need to find somewhere wikipedia based; as with anything there's a lot of waiting for beaurocrats! I hope it'll be running in the next week or so.)

{{xboxp}}
I was wondering if you could help me with something? I see that you helped make the VG Project box and I was wondering help me with this problem. I'm from WikiProject Xbox and for some reason our infobox does this. Thanks. BW21.--BlackWatch21 22:23, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
RSS Feed
Since the RSS feed was not working (for me at least; no one responded to my post on the VG talk page), I created a new feed, and increased the size to the newest 1000 pages instead of 500. MrKIA11 (talk) 16:29, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Stats links off wiki
Hi,
Stats pages already exist (something I learnt yesterday!) at stats.grok.se - and are quite niftily implemented. Of course, there's no way to include the data in the Wikipedia templates; I suspect that even tagging pages with categories such as "high traffic video games page" will be too much site traffic to be deemed worthwhile.
Verisimilus T 08:56, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. thanks for the offer of sorting out a server! I do now have space at the ToolServer which can be used if useful. Verisimilus T 08:59, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Louvre
Hi! I saw you added a photograph to the Louvre article. Some other editors and I have been engaged in a major overhaul of the article and...well...since you demonstrated an interest, would you consider stopping by and helping out if you have the time? You can see our discussion on the talk page! Any help would be appreciated. Lazulilasher (talk) 00:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Man!
I had tried to add the page on Sand Storm, but it was invalid. Thanks for the help! Sand storm was my first video game ever, and I respect it very much. NatWill2 (talk) 23:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Bendtner
Hi, I've reverted your changes to the font size in Nicklas Bendtner's career stats tables, on the basis that at 90% they were unnecessarily difficult to read. Please remember when making changes like this that not all your readers have perfect eyesight and wide monitors :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Templates : Football player statistics
Hello. Thank you for being interested in the template which I made. I carried how to use template here : Template:Football player statistics 1. Cheers. --Nameless User (talk) 00:38, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Why did'nt you convert the external links you removed from above into references. That would have better then just removing them. Djln--Djln (talk) 11:18, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Future of Task Forces(part two: Atari)
(a message I left on WPVG talk page) In archive 41, we talked about sending video game series task forces into whole Publisher task forces. Example: Devil May Cry to Capcom. I would like to request that the actual creators of the task forces would meet here to discuss the issue I talk of in Archive 41.Gears Of War 01:50, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Ognjen Vukojevic
What's the problem? He IS moving to Dynamo Kyiv, here, if you understand Croatian (this is his current club's official website saying he and his agent are going to Kyiv tomorrow for him to undergo a medical and sign for Dynamo http://www.nk-dinamo.hr/vijest/prikaz/904/Default.aspx ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.172.7.154 (talk) 20:33, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, fine, add it tomorrow, but just because there's no news in English doesn't mean it's not true. Ajax stories were speculation, as were the Celtic ones. The Kyiv one is true and it doesn't get more official than when the club says it in their statement.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.172.7.154 (talk) 22:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
