I am getting an error page that I cannot edit anymore because some admin named Majorly decided that I am a troll. The text which accompanies this says that I may not have actually done something troll like, but perhaps someone in my IP address range did.
So I'm supposed to politely I guess contact this Majorly fellow and kindly beseech him to de-trollify me or explain his sweeping gatekeeping of my suspect Ip range, except that since the software has decided my username is bad and I'm a bad person, I'm not allowed to email this Majorly dude.
I have no idea what the troll like complaint involves, so I can't really respond to that assertion. I also can't contact my accuser, Majorly, since that feature has been denied to me as well while I'm blocked.
Forgive me if my tone is a bit peevish, but this is really annoying and about as transparent as the TSA's "no fly" lists.
Since I can't do the first step of contacting Majorly, who did not bother to contact me at the time he decided I was a troll, I am taking the next step of appealing to a few of his nameless peers in the hopes that you can help me.
Thank you for the update, and for responding, but I am not a troll despite the ONE edit you found which appears to suggest that. The post in question, probably an exercise in bad judgment, was actually part of a discussion about Wikipedia in which a TV journalist did a report to show how Wiki could be edited. So a lot of people then went on to her page to do similar things and show how they were largely self correcting, and the meaning of that, etc. I think you will find my other edits unexceptional, so I think a lifetime ban for this one transgression is excessive.
Yamla: I'd like to continue this discussion, do you read edits to this page here, since I can't email you directly as a blocked user or add to your talk page. Is there any way to continue this discussion, since other admins can't override your denial apparently.
