[edit] Taiwanese baseball
Hi, I've noticed your edit on Chin-Feng Chen, I welcome you to join the Taiwanese baseball task force!--Jerry 21:09, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Baseball year
From now on, please use 2008 instead of 2008. Thanks. --Street20 (talk) 03:11, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Edmonton Trappers
I'm bringing to your attention that I've added Category:Edmonton Trappers players. The Edmonton Trappers are a defunct Triple-A team but I think that a category for it is okay. So if you see any players that played for the Trappers, just add them. --Street20 (talk) 00:25, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lehigh Valley IronPigs
Just giving you a heads up, I created the category for them and I already added Steve Kline. --Street20 (talk) 04:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Sean DePaula
I'm not sure why you moved this player to Sean Depaula with a lower case "p", but he has always gone with an upper case "P" in his name. The official MLB site lists him as DePaula [1] as do all his baseball cards. See for example: [2] which has a facsimilie of his actual autograph where he himself capitalizes both the D and P in his last name. See also this Fleer card: [3] Kinston eagle (talk) 03:51, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, baseball-reference.com had him listed as Depaula and I assumed that was the correct spelling. Jackal4 (talk) 21:01, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] References
Thank you for actually attempting to add references to articles!!! It is very good to see. There is a catch, however. Whan dding references, add <ref> before the site and </ref> after the site. This makes the references go the the bottom of the page (for example, see Border Legion (Shannara). Also, when citeing websites, use the {{cite web}} template. Alright? Any questions, just ask me! the_ed17 23:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- Also, try to remember to use edit summaries...when people are looking for vandalism, it is much easier to read an edit summary than to compare the differences between the old and new versions... Thanks again. the_ed17 01:09, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Please use edit summaries more often
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.
