[edit] Speedy deletion of The Motion Picture

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, The Motion Picture, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Cunard (talk) 00:15, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with The Motion Picture. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Cunard (talk) 00:16, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:The Motion Picture.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:The Motion Picture.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:33, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Motion Picture

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the The Motion Picture article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Village pump". You can also leave a message on my talk page. ... discospinster talk 19:52, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
