[edit] Jaculis

"Jaculis" is Latin for javelin[[1]]. One of the implements used in one of the events of the Olympic Games decathlon. Made famous in literature by Horace in his "Odes" where he writes "Integer vitae scelerisque purus non eget Mauris jaculis nec arcu.", which translated to English means "The man who is pure in his life and untouched by wrongdoing has no need of Moorish javelin or bow." Colloquially interpreted into the modern day as "An upright man, free of guilt, needs no weapon to defend himself."
