[edit] Spanish script too, please

This admiral from the privateering Dunkirk Squadron (Flanders Auxiliary Fleet, Spaniard Netherlands) was known in Spanish as "Jaques Colarte" or "Collarte". I'm afraid many Spanish-speaking people is gonna get lost when trying to find this article. Collaart the Elder died from a disease at Corunna (Galicia)about 1638. I'll try to provide further information from Spaniard sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.142.175.22 (talk) 11:47, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Decease: 1637 at Corunna (Galicia), from burning-fever. Aka Jacques Colart. The Galician (& Andalusian &Chilean)surname Colarte seems to derive from Collaart. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.142.175.22 (talk) 09:52, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
If you could let me know the source, I'd be happy to incorporate what you've turned up into the article. (I'm assuming it's shyness about writing in a foreign language that has kept you to the talk page rather than boldly adding the information yourself - it's just what I tend to do on French wikipedia.) --Paularblaster (talk) 21:47, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
"Enciclopedia General del Mar", 4th edition (Garriga, Barcelona , 1998)
R.A. STRADLING: "The Armada of Flanders: Spanish Maritime Police & European War" (1992), page 101. According to Stradling Colart died in August of 1637. And I have no intention of editing the main article. It´s not shyness. Just respect. Excerpts from Stradling: "The plan for 1637 was for Colaert to sail from La Coruña, escorting the transports of infantry reinforcements [bound for Flanders]. In August [of 1637], the death of Colaert further increased anxiety [at the Court in Madrid]" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.142.175.22 (talk) 10:19, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
