[edit] Proposed Merger

I see that there is a proposal to merge Jackson's Military Road into this article. I don't see a discussion of the proposal, but this is the page where it is supposed to be discussed.

  • I oppose the merger. The historical road, which I just referred to in the history section of Lawrence County, Tennessee, is an entirely "different animal" from the modern Jackson Highway. See the Lawrence County article to see why it would be adversely affected by a merger. --orlady 21:41, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose proposed merge from Jackson's Military Road as the historical military road is its own entity. LeRoi 02:36, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
